Adjustable Tenter to Stretch Parchments

Framework designed to hold taut damaged parchments, make them get back to a normal size and also flatten folded maps. Initially developed to stretch parchment, it can also be used with other materials such as woven and nonwoven textiles, felt, leather, paint…

It enables to reduce thickness, stretch. Quadrangular and continuously adjustable, each side of the tenter provides fixed mounting corners and sliding blocks as well as entry-openings for the stretchers gliders. A Polyamide cylindrical adjustment-grip, turned around a stainless steel thread-rod, offers an easy and precise adjustment of the stretching-force. The stretch tension system applies a possible buoyancy of 0 - 10 kg

Frame size: 1600 x 1400 mm

Parchment sizes: minimum of 70 x 70 mm. up to a maximum of 1200 to 1000 mm

Stretchers: 8 to 140

It can easily be fixed on wall, and is thus not cumbersome during stretching time.
